| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
| | 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate the Moweaqua Central A&M
| | 4 | | Raiders
on winning the 2015 Illinois High School Association | | 5 | | Girls Basketball 1A State Championship; and
| | 6 | | WHEREAS, The State of Illinois is fortunate to have many | | 7 | | outstanding high school students and programs that earn State | | 8 | | recognition, but none have achieved as much distinction as the | | 9 | | Moweaqua Central A&M Raiders; and
| | 10 | | WHEREAS, The Raiders are the current defending
girls 1A | | 11 | | basketball State champions, after previously finishing
4th at | | 12 | | State in 2014 and 3rd in 2008; and
| | 13 | | WHEREAS, The Raiders finished the season
with
a record of | | 14 | | 33 wins and 1 loss; they won the Pana Tournament,
the Macon | | 15 | | County Tournament, the Central Illinois Conference Tournament,
| | 16 | | the regional tournament, the sectional tournament, and the | | 17 | | super-sectional tournament; and
| | 18 | | WHEREAS, Leading the 2015 championship team were Taylor
| | 19 | | Jordan, Kaley Hennings, Kayla Gibson, Morgan Damery, Jorji
| | 20 | | Sparrgrove, Ryan Dooley, Mikah Maples, Abigail Hiton, Shelby | | 21 | | Dailey, Olivia Jordan, Kaylan Schinzler, Kaylee Collins, Gabby

Garner; | | 4 | | therefore, be it
| | 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | | 6 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
| | 7 | | join the many friends and fans of the Moweaqua Central A&M | | 8 | | Raiders
in congratulating them
for winning the 2015 Girls 1A | | 9 | | Basketball State Championship
and we wish them continued | | 10 | | success; and be it further
