SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 49

(As Amended by Senate Amendment No. 1)

WHEREAS, The State Board of Education has filed its Report on Waivers of School Code Mandates, dated February 29, 2016, with the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Secretary of State as required by Section 2-3.25g of the School Code; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING HEREIN, that the request made by Paxton-Buckley-Loda CUSD 10 - Ford with respect to the school building code, identified in the report filed by the State Board of Education as request WM100-6213, is disapproved; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the request made by Oswego CUSD 308 - Kendall with respect to physical education, identified in the report filed by the State Board of Education as request WM100-6202, has been formally withdrawn at the request of the superintendent and school board of the district and will therefore not be considered as part of this report; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the remaining requests in the Report on Waivers of School Code Mandates are approved.
