SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Frances Reilley Gerlach of Lake Forest, who passed away on September 28, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Frances Gerlach graduated magnum cum laude from Mundelein College; and

WHEREAS, Frances Gerlach was the former President of the Lake Forest Library Board; and

WHEREAS, Frances Gerlach was the wife of Paul; the mother of Anne Friday, Virginia (Roy) Howland, the late Daniel (Yonca) Gerlach, Susan (Michael) Clabby, and Thomas and Stephen Gerlach; and the grandmother of David and Laura Howland, Kate, Tess, Lucy, Tommy, and Henry Clabby, Gil and Lauren Gerlach, and Aysen, Jean, and Paul Gerlach; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Frances Reilley Gerlach, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Frances Gerlach as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
