SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Theodore J. "Ted" Galvani, Sr. of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, formerly of Deerfield, who passed away on October 19, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Theodore Galvani, Sr. was born and raised in the Highwood and Highland Park areas; and

WHEREAS, Theodore Galvani, Sr. is survived by his first wife, Florence "Cookie" Galvani; his brother, Mario (Lydia) Galvani; his children, Theodore (Jean) Galvani, Jr., Jewel (Robert) Galvani-Lausted, Edith Galvani, Howard Galvani, and Michael (Marie) Purdy; his 9 grandchildren; and his 5 great-grandchildren; he was also the husband of 44 years of the late Mary Ann Galvani, the brother of the late Mildred "Millie" Lawler, and the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Theodore J. "Ted" Galvani, Sr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Theodore Galvani, Sr. as an expression of our sympathy.
