SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lee "Babe" Greenspan of Chicago, who
4passed away on February 20, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lee Greenspan was born on November 19, 1924; he
6served in the military during World War II; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Lee Greenspan was a well-known furrier on Devon
8Avenue in Chicago for many years; he later became a clothing
9sales representative with offices at the Merchandise Mart;
10after retirement, he moved to Palm Springs, California; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Lee Greenspan was an avid golfer; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Lee Greenspan was preceded in death by his wife,
13Claire Greenspan; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Lee Greenspan is survived by his three children,
15Richard, Diane (Rich) Lachman, and Gary (Debbie); his seven
16grandchildren; and his four great-grandchildren; therefore, be
17it
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Lee "Babe" Greenspan, and extend our sincere condolences to his
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
3further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5presented to the family of Lee Greenspan as an expression of
6our deepest sympathy.
