SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Eileen O'Connell of Palatine, who passed
4away on May 22, 2016 at the age of 95; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Eileen O'Connell was preceded in death by her
6parents, James and Margaret Alicoate; her brothers, Vincent,
7Jim, Jack, Chuck, and Jerry; and her sister, Catherine (Augie)
8Jahns; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Eileen O'Connell was the loving wife to the late
10Eugene R. O'Connell; the loving mother of John (Celeste), Kathy
11Stegemann, Peggy (Michael) Smith, Colleen (Arthur) Work, Tom
12O'Connell, Maureen O'Connell, Charles (Joyce) O'Connell, and
13Eileen O'Connell; the devoted grandmother of Heather (Rusty)
14Mills, Tim O'Connell, Erik (Caty) Stegemann, Mark (Kit)
15Stegemann, Bridget (Charles) Juister, Amy (David) Kogut, Jim
16(Brenda) Smith, Ryan (Christie) Smith, Jody Work, Wade Work,
17Sara Work, Amanda Work, Brandon O'Connell, Kevin Rogers,
18Geralyn Rogers, Patrick O'Connell, Katie O'Connell, and David
19(Megan) Pratt; the loving great-grandmother of Ryan, Ashley,
20Sarah, Matthew, Gene, Victor, Harriet, Carys, Braden, Ensley,
21Connor, Maeve, Vincent, Daniel, Alivia, Kiana, Alice Mae, Jeff,
22Stevie, and Robbie; she is also survived by her brother, Thomas
23(Joan) Alicoate; her sisters-in law, Frances Alicoate and Nelly

3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Eileen O'Connell; and
6be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Eileen O'Connell as an expression of
9our sympathy.
