SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Phyllis Zupec of Waukegan, who passed away on May 22, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Phyllis Zupec was born on April 28, 1949 in Ottumwa, Iowa; and

WHEREAS, Phyllis Zupec retired from Dieck, Arenas, and Associates; and

WHEREAS, Phyllis Zupec enjoyed spending time at her family's second home in Wisconsin, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Phyllis Zupec was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kaitlyn; her parents; and her brother, Lester; and

WHEREAS, Phyllis Zupec is survived by her husband, Gregory M. Zupec; her children, Keith (Stacey) Zupec, Todd (Tara) Zupec, Tina (Scott Thomas) Zupec, and Scott (Jamie) Zupec; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Dane, Benjamin, Abigail, and Olivia; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Phyllis Zupec, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Phyllis Zupec as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
