SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Eugene Coker of Schaumburg, who passed away on July 9, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Coker was born on November 6, 1946 in Scott, Arkansas; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Coker served in the United States Air Force for 23 years, including time in Vietnam; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Coker worked for United Airlines as an aircraft mechanic for 20 years; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Coker was the beloved husband of 39 years of Ruth (Jamro), and the loving father of Christopher; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Eugene Coker, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Eugene Coker as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
