1    AN ACT concerning State government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Department of Natural Resources Act is
5amended by adding Section 21 as follows:
 
6    (20 ILCS 801/21 new)
7    Sec. 21. Prohibitions. Only materials manufactured in the
8United States may be sold on the property of the Illinois State
9Museum. As used in this Section, "materials manufactured in the
10United States" means assembled articles, materials, or
11supplies for which design, final assembly, processing,
12packaging, testing, or other process that adds value, quality,
13or reliability occurred in the United States.
 
14    Section 10. The State Parks Act is amended by adding
15Section 4d as follows:
 
16    (20 ILCS 835/4d new)
17    Sec. 4d. Prohibited sales. Only materials manufactured in
18the United States may be sold in gift shops or concession areas
19within State parks or parkways. As used in this Section,
20"materials manufactured in the United States" means assembled
21articles, materials, or supplies for which design, final

1assembly, processing, packaging, testing, or other process
2that adds value, quality, or reliability occurred in the United
3States. This Section does not apply to the World Shooting and
4Recreational Complex under the jurisdiction of the Department
5of Natural Resources.
 
6    Section 15. The Historic Preservation Agency Act is amended
7by adding Section 36 as follows:
 
8    (20 ILCS 3405/36 new)
9    Sec. 36. Prohibitions. Only materials manufactured in the
10United States may be sold on the property of State Historic
11Sites, State Memorials, and the other properties over which the
12Historic Preservation Agency has jurisdiction under Section 6
13of this Act. As used in this Section, "materials manufactured
14in the United States" means assembled articles, materials, or
15supplies for which design, final assembly, processing,
16packaging, testing, or other process that adds value, quality,
17or reliability occurred in the United States.
