SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Creates the Implementation of Legislation Reporting Act. Provides that
any State agency required to provide benefits or services under the
provisions of a covered Public Act shall prepare an Implementation Report
relating to that covered Public Act, and file the Report with the General
Assembly. Requires the Implementation Report to also be published on the
General Assembly's Internet website. Defines terms. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
This Act may be cited as the
Implementation of Legislation Reporting Act.
As used in this Act:
"State agency" means any department, board, commission, or
agency in the executive branch of State government created by
the Illinois Constitution or statute.
"Covered Public Act" means a Public Act which becomes
effective on or after July 1, 2018 that requires a State agency
to provide a benefit or service to one or more persons which
benefit or service the State agency was not required to provide
prior to the effective date of the covered Public Act.
"Implementation Report" means a report that sets out the
(1) the Public Act that is the subject of the report,
and the effective date of that Public Act;
(2) the name of the State agency which prepared the
report and date of report;
