Amends the Board of Higher Education Act. Makes a technical change in
Section concerning terms.

AN ACT concerning education.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
The Board of Higher Education Act is amended by
changing Section 3 as follows:
(110 ILCS 205/3)

members of the Board whose appointments are
confirmation by the Senate shall be selected for
6-year terms expiring on
January 31 of odd numbered years.
(b) The members of the Board shall continue to serve after
expiration of their terms until their successors have been
