HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Denbur, Inc. of Westmont on receiving the State of Illinois 2018 Exporter of the Year award on May 24, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Denbur, Inc. also received this award in 2014 and 2016; in 2017, it received the U.S. Small Business Administration's 2017 Exporter of the Year Award; and

WHEREAS, Denbur, Inc. was established in 1979 as a consulting firm for a number of European dental manufacturers; in 1990, it introduced innovative new products to the North American dental market, including MultiBrush Original Blue, Light-Tip, and Fracfinder; in 1999, it began manufacturing new and modified products, including Magic-Brush, Nano-Brush, C-Flow, Profiler, and Pure Brush; in 2003, it began manufacturing OEM and private label product lines for manufacturers of dental solutions worldwide; as of 2018, it sells to 42 countries around the world; besides the dental market, they also sell to the hobby industry, beauty industry, and consumer market; and

WHEREAS, Denbur, Inc. is a woman-owned business; Monica Maissami is president and her son, Sean, is vice president; the founder, Fari Maissami, passed away in July of 2017, but his spirit lives on; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Denbur, Inc. on receiving the State of Illinois 2018 Exporter of the Year award, and we wish them many more successful years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Denbur, Inc. as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
