HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Irving "Irv" Loundy, who has vigorously and professionally served the community-banking profession for 60 years; and

WHEREAS, Irving Loundy has tirelessly advanced and progressively served the needs of his customers wherever possible; and

WHEREAS, Irving Loundy has been an important partner to many Rogers Park civic organizations including, but not limited to, the West Rogers Park Economic Development Committee, the West Ridge Chamber of Commerce, the 24th District Police Advisory Committee, the West Ridge Community Organization, and the Rogers Park Builders Group; and

WHEREAS, As in the mission of the Community Bankers Association of Illinois, Irving Loundy has been dedicated to keeping community banks competitive for the benefit of their customers and the communities they serve through delivery of quality education, effective representation, and essential products and services; and

WHEREAS, Irving Loundy's contributions to the economic vitality of the City of Chicago and his continuing dedication to fulfilling the credit needs of citizens of the Rogers Park area are highly commendable; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Irving Loundy on his 60th anniversary in the banking profession, and we wish him many more wonderful years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Irving Loundy as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
