HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Jean Collins on the occasion of her 100th birthday on December 10, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Jean Collins was born on December 10, 1918; she worked as a nurse at Rush Medical Center for more than 20 years; she retired from Presbyterian-St. Luke's Hospital; and

WHEREAS, Jean Collins is a member of the Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as President of Missionary; she has been a supporter of the Ora Higgins Youth Foundation; and

WHEREAS, Jean Collins is a kind and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; she shares her love and wisdom with many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Jean Collins on the occasion of her 100th birthday; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Jean Collins as an expression of our esteem and respect.
