HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Greg Alt on the occasion of his retirement from Illinois State University (ISU); and

WHEREAS, Greg Alt earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from ISU in 1981; he earned his Master of Business Administration from ISU in 1994; and

WHEREAS, Greg Alt worked as a certified public accountant at KPMG; and

WHEREAS, Since joining ISU in 1990, Greg Alt served in various fiscal management roles and was appointed as the comptroller in 2002; he assumed the role of Vice-President for Finance and Planning in 2014; and

WHEREAS, Greg Alt has helped ISU to successfully chart its financial future; his leadership has been key to making it strong and stable institution that it is today; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Greg Alt on his retirement from Illinois State University, and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Greg Alt as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
