HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Molly Cavanaugh on the occasion of her retirement from Proviso West High School in March of 2017; and

WHEREAS, Molly Cavanaugh has worked for the Proviso Township School District for 63 years and at Proviso West High School for 59 years; and

WHEREAS, Molly Cavanaugh graduated from Proviso High School in 1954; she began working at the school that September; and

WHEREAS, Molly Cavanaugh moved to Proviso West High School when it opened in September of 1958; and

WHEREAS, Molly Cavanaugh has served under 11 principals since 1958, who all admired and appreciated her hard work and dedication; she always lent a helping hand to teachers and students who came into the office and will be missed by the entire school community; and

WHEREAS, Molly Cavanaugh plans to relax and enjoy her retirement by spending time with her family and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Molly Cavanaugh on her retirement from Proviso West High School and we wish her the best in all her future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Molly Cavanaugh as an expression of our esteem and respect.
