SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Michele Lynn Schneider of Mt. Pulaski, who passed away on July 21, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Michele Schneider was born in Rapid City, South Dakota to Otis R. and Ruth Ann (Jones) Calliss on April 18, 1968; she married William "Bill" Schneider in Herrin on September 27, 1997; and

WHEREAS, Michele Schneider was a sports mom and loved watching her boys play; and

WHEREAS, Michele Schneider taught Sunday school at the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church; and

WHEREAS, Michele Schneider was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents; and

WHEREAS, Michele Schneider is survived by her husband, Bill; her sons, Ian and Aidan Schneider; her mother, Ruth Ann Calliss; her sisters, Susan (Dax) Griffith and Amy Calliss; her nieces, Kaitlin and Mikaila Griffith; her nephew, Josh Griffith; her father-in-law, Robert Schneider; and her brothers-in-law, Edward Schneider and Dave (Mark Bray) Schneider; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Michele Lynn Schneider, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michele Schneider as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
