| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Raymond E. Garner of Milan, who passed | 4 | | away on October 22, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Garner was born in Quincy to James and | 6 | | Lucy Garner on October 5, 1932; he was a veteran of the United | 7 | | States Army and served in Korea; he married Audrey C. Nelson in | 8 | | LaGrange, Missouri on December 20, 1952; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Garner worked as a welder at John Deere | 10 | | and retired in 1995; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Garner enjoyed playing cards, fishing, | 12 | | and spending time with his family, especially his daughters; | 13 | | and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Garner was preceded in death by his wife, | 15 | | Audrey; his parents; his brothers, Howard Garner and Gene | 16 | | Garner; and his sisters-in-law, Judith Hager and Roberta Hager | 17 | | Baumer; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Raymond Garner is survived by his daughters, Rita | 19 | | K. Garner and Colleen Stark; his grandchildren, Brandon R. | 20 | | Garner, Victoria Stark, and Tyler Stark; his |
