SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mary Asadorian of Granite City, who
4passed away on November 3, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Asadorian was born in Granite City to Abraham
6and Hermine (Soukiasian) Kambarian on August 16, 1924; she
7married Edward Asadorian on October 4, 1947; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Mary Asadorian was a homemaker and a mom and had a
9generous and friendly nature; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Mary Asadorian was a member of St. Gregory the
11Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church in Granite City, where
12she was active with the Ladies Guild and the Mr. & Mrs. Club;
13she was also a member of the Lincoln Place Heritage
14Association; she enjoyed playing bingo, entertaining friends,
15and spending time with her family; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Mary Asadorian was preceded in death by her
17parents; her husband, Edward; her brothers, Jerry and Virgil
18Kambarian; her sister, Charlotte (Fred) McMillan; and her
19infant sister, Perooz Kambarian; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Mary Asadorian is survived by her children, Eddie

1(Norma) Asadorian, Arthur (Pam) Asadorian, and Melanie
2(Graham) Keeney; her grandchildren, Andrew (Chelsea) Asadorian
3and Angela (Zane Potter) Keeney; her stepgrandchildren, Rick
4and Tiffany Evans; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Makenzie and
5Ian Evans; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many
6other close family members and friends; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Mary Asadorian and extend our sincere condolences to her
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Mary Asadorian as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
