SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Katherine Margaret Lanzerotte of Alton, who passed away on September 26, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Katherine Lanzerotte was born in LaSalle to John and Josephine (Rua) Caresio on September 22, 1914; she married Joseph Leonard Lanzerotte on June 18, 1939; and

WHEREAS, Katherine Lanzerotte was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; her parents; her two brothers; and her sister; and

WHEREAS, Katherine Lanzerotte is survived by her son, Paul (Barbara) Lanzerotte; her daughter, Joy K. Lanzerotte; and her grandchildren, Dr. Mark Lanzerotte, Kim Lanzerotte, and Steve Sitze; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Katherine Margaret Lanzerotte, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Katherine Lanzerotte as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
