HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Captain Anton C. Cundiff of the McHenry County Sheriff's Department on his retirement; and

WHEREAS, Anton C. Cundiff was hired by the McHenry County Sheriff's Office on December 1, 1986; On March 22, 1995 he was promoted to Supervisor in the Narcotics Unit and on September 18, 1995 he was promoted to Acting Sergeant in the Narcotics Unit; and

WHEREAS, On September 15, 1996 he was promoted to Sergeant in Narcotics; on June 13, 2004 he was promoted to Lieutenant in Patrol; on September 3, 2004 he was promoted to Commander of S.W.A.T.; and on June 25, 2006 he was promoted to Captain of Patrol; and

WHEREAS, Captain Cundiff has made the decision to retire after serving the citizens of McHenry County for 25 years; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Captain Cundiff on his retirement and thank him for his years of service; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Captain Anton Cundiff as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
