HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the members of the Streator Little League All Stars baseball team for their impressive season and for their great performance at the Great Lakes Regional Little League tournament; and

WHEREAS, After an impressive 8-7 victory against La Grange in the Illinois State Little League tournament, the Streator Little League All Stars moved on to the Great Lakes Regional Little League tournament; the team subsequently went 2-2 in round-robin play, defeating New Castle, Indiana (13-3) and Warren County (9-4); the team then advanced to the semi-finals, where they lost 4-3 to Warren County; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Streator Little League All Stars are Adam Brown, Alex Arroyo, Mitch Vickers, Dakota Limberg, Cherokee LeBeau, Jacob Williams, John Benckendorf, Jake Marti, Joey Byers, Chandler Hillebrenner, Hunter Telford, and Caleb Osborn; the team's manager is John Brown and the coaches are Jason Telford and Rodney Vickers; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Streator Little League All Stars serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the members of the Streator Little League All Stars baseball team for their impressive season and their performance at the Great Lakes Regional Little League tournament and wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be presented to the Streator Little League All Stars baseball team as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
