HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Theodis R. Leonard, Sr., who passed away on April 8, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Theodis Leonard, Sr. was very active in his local church and community; after serving as a teacher at Gregory School in North Lawndale, he served as the Assistant Principal at Gregory School and as Principal of Paderewski School until his retirement; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Theodis R. Leonard, Sr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Theodis Leonard, Sr. as an expression of our sympathy.
