SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

35 ILCS 200/19-60

Amends the Property Tax Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the bond of the collector.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning revenue.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing Section 19-60 as follows:

(35 ILCS 200/19-60)

Sec. 19-60. Bond as security for taxes collected. The The bond of every county or township collector shall be held to be security for the payment by the collector to the county treasurer and the taxing districts and proper authorities, of all taxes, special assessments which are collected or received on their behalf, and of all penalties which are recovered against him.
