SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Diana H. Nelson of Round Lake Beach, who passed away on October 5, 2010; and

WHEREAS, Diana Nelson was born on January 29, 1942, in Chicago; her parents were Rose and John Fuhr; and

WHEREAS, Diana Nelson was employed as a consumer advocate; and

WHEREAS, Diana Nelson was a member of CODA and the Calvary Presbyterian Church in Round Lake; and

WHEREAS, Diana Nelson was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David John; and her grandchildren, Heather and Daniel Jr.; and

WHEREAS, Diana Nelson is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, David; her children, Daniel (Shari), Dwayne (Michelle), and Matt (Holly); her daughter-in-law, Kim Nelson; and her grandchildren, Mike, Josh, Jeff, Zac, Tristen, Alex, Katie, and Elizabeth; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Diana H. Nelson; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Diana Nelson as an expression of our sympathy.
