SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply
3saddened to learn of the death of Clifford H. Bording of
4Carlinville, who passed away on October 7, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Clifford Bording was born on April 23, 1937, to
6Clay and Helen Bording (Neimeyer) in Saint Louis, Missouri; he
7married Jurlene "Jerri" Wills on May 18, 1957, in Saint Louis;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, Clifford Bording worked for Worksaver in
10Litchfield as a plant manager/purchasing agent; he was a member
11and deacon at Memorial Christian Church in Carlinville and a
12member of Carlinville Elks Lodge #1412, where he was a past
13Exalted Ruler on two occasions; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Clifford Bording loved to hunt, watch all Saint
15Louis sports teams, talk politics, and visit with friends; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Clifford Bording was preceded in death by his
17parents, Clay and Helen Bording, and his brothers, Gary and
18Clay Bording; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Clifford Bording is survived by his wife, Jurlene
20Bording; his daughter, Teri (Jon) Cerar; his sons, Clay Bording

1and Carson Bording; his grandson, Joshua Cerar; his sister,
2Lois Vonderheide; and his several nieces and nephews;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Clifford Bording, and we extend our sincere condolences to his
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Clifford Bording as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
