SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Paulette A. Van Laeke of Waukegan, who passed away on December 18, 2010; and

WHEREAS, Paulette Van Laeke was born on May 10, 1956, in Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, Paulette Van Laeke served as a dietary technician at Victory Memorial Hospital for nearly 30 years; and

WHEREAS, Paulette Van Laeke enjoyed animals, especially her kitty, Ginger; she also enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis Presley, horseback riding, and spending time with her family; and

WHEREAS, Paulette Van Laeke was preceded in death by her sisters, Nancy Lee Koschak and Sandra and Bill Miscichowski; her parents, Leo and Pauline Van Laeke; and her many aunts and uncles; and

WHEREAS, Paulette Van Laeke is survived by her nieces and nephews, Denise (Michael) Collins, Dawn Koschak, Darlene Nedelka, Perry (Heather) Lentine, Julie May, Gina Lentine, Lisa (John) Walczak, Bill Miscichowski, Linnae Cerqua, Paul (Michelle) Miscichowski, Cory (Laura) Ayers, and Brandon Ayers; her 26 great nieces and nephews; her great-great-niece and great-great-nephew; and her sisters, Shirley (Ray) Hoven and Linda Ayers; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Paulette A. Van Laeke; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Paulette Van Laeke as an expression of our sympathy.
