SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Audrey Joyce Jahnke of McHenry, who passed away on August 2, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Audrey Jahnke was born on March 22, 1939, in Chicago to Alfred and Matilda Mansk; she was married to Harold for 51 years; and

WHEREAS, Audrey Jahnke was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Matilda Mansk and her sister, Arlene Hankey; and

WHEREAS, Audrey Jahnke is survived by her husband, Harold; her children, David (Jackie) Jahnke, Kris (Dan) Duffy, and Jan (Mike) Brown; her grandchildren, Kasey, Abby, Dean, Grace, Cole, Danielle, Blake, and Matthew; and her siblings, Warren, Duane, and Ken; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Audrey Jahnke, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Audrey Jahnke as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
