 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1023

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 1023,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    after the end of Section 5, by inserting the following:

 4        "Section  10.   The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by
 5    adding Section 7-103.106 as follows:

 6        (735 ILCS 5/7-103.106 new)
 7        Sec.  7-103.106.  Quick-take;  Urbana-Champaign  Sanitary
 8    District.  Quick-take proceedings under Section 7-103 may  be
 9    used  for  a  period of 24 months after the effective date of
10    this amendatory Act of  the  93rd  General  Assembly  by  the
11    Urbana-Champaign  Sanitary  District  for  the acquisition of
12    permanent  and  temporary  easements  for  the   purpose   of
13    implementing  phase  2  of  the  Curtis  Road  - Windsor Road
14    sanitary  interceptor  sewer  project  and  constructing  and
15    operating the proposed sewers.".
