 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1029

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 1029  by  replacing
 3    everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 4        "Section   5.   The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by
 5    adding Section 7-103.102 as follows:

 6        (735 ILCS 5/7-103.102 new)
 7        Sec.  7-103.102.  Quick-take;   City   of   Oak   Forest.
 8    Quick-take  proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for a
 9    period of 12 months after the effective  of  this  amendatory
10    Act  of the 93rd General Assembly, by the City of Oak Forest,
11    for the acquisition, for school purposes, of property bounded
12    on the south by Christopher Street, excluding  lots  51,  52,
13    53,  54,  55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20,
14    19, and 18, which abut the north line of Christopher  Street;
15    on  the  west by Central Avenue; on the north by the southern
16    boundary line of Outlot A, extended from  Central  Avenue  to
17    Lockwood Avenue; and on the east by Lockwood Avenue.

18        Section  99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect upon
19    becoming law.".
