 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1082

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 1082  by  replacing
 3    everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 4        "Section   5.  The   Physical  Fitness  Facility  Medical
 5    Emergency Preparedness Act is amended, if  and  only  if  the
 6    provisions  of  Senate  Bill 777 of the 93rd General Assembly
 7    become law, by adding Sections 55 and 79 as follows:

 8        (S.B. 777, 93rd G.A., Sec. 55 new)
 9        Sec. 55.  Department of Public Health grant program.  The
10    Department  of  Public  Health  shall  establish a program to
11    provide grants to physical fitness facilities to assist  such
12    facilities  in  purchasing  AEDs  that  such  facilities  are
13    required to purchase under this Act.

14        (S.B. 777, 93rd G.A., Sec.79 new)
15        Sec.  79.  Effective  date.   This Section and Sections 1
16    and 55 take effect upon becoming law.

17        Section 99.  Effective date. This Act takes  effect  upon
18    becoming law.".
