 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 1514,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    with  reference  to  page and line numbers of House Amendment
 4    No. 1, on page 5, line 18, by replacing "If  the  boundaries"
 5    with "(2)  If the boundaries"; and

 6    on  page  5,  by  replacing  lines  22  through  25  with the
 7    following:
 8        "(3) The voters of the district may submit to  the  board
 9    of  trustees  a written petition signed by a number of voters
10    equal to at least 8% of the votes for candidates for Governor
11    within  the   district   in   the   preceding   gubernatorial
12    election.".
