 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1529

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill  1529  on  page  1,
 3    line 18, by changing "24" to "12"; and

 4    on  page  1,  by  replacing  lines  21  through  24  with the
 5    following:
 6                  "(A)  a period of unemployment of  12  or  more
 7             consecutive months or the income received within the
 8             12  months prior to employment is less than 10 hours
 9             of work per week at the  established  minimum  wage;
10             or"; and

11    on page 1, line 25, by changing "24" to "12"; and

12    on page 1, line 29, by changing "24" to "12"; and

13    by  replacing line 31 on page 1 and line 1 on page 2 with the
14    following:
15    "increased  earnings,  during  or  within  6   months   after
16    receiving assistance under a State".
