 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2147

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2147 on page 2,  by
 3    replacing lines 16 through 19 with the following:
 4        "Sec.  25.2.  Criminal  penalty.   A person who knowingly
 5    enters  false,  incomplete,   or   intentionally   misleading
 6    information  on an application for a position subject to this
 7    Act;  who   knowingly   gives   a   false,   incomplete,   or
 8    intentionally   misleading  answer  to  any  question  on  an
 9    application for  employment;  who  knowingly  submits  false,
10    incomplete,   or   intentionally   misleading   documents  in
11    connection  with  an  application  for  employment;  or   who
12    knowingly   provides   false,  incomplete,  or  intentionally
13    misleading information during an  interview  for  a  position
14    subject to this Act is guilty of a Class 2 felony.".
