 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2245

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2245 on page 2,  by
 3    replacing lines 10 through 20 with the following:
 4        "(b)  The  Village  of Rockton has the power for one year
 5    after the effective date of this amendatory Act of  the  93rd
 6    General  Assembly  to  dissolve and acquire all of the assets
 7    and responsibilities of  a  sanitary  district  (i)  that  is
 8    located  wholly within Winnebago County and (ii) that has 90%
 9    of its service  area  within  the  corporate  limits  of  the
10    Village  of Rockton. The corporate authorities of the Village
11    of Rockton, after providing at least 60 days'  prior  written
12    notice  to  the  sanitary  district, may vote to dissolve and
13    acquire the existing sanitary  district  formed  pursuant  to
14    this Act upon"; and

15    on  page  2, lines 23, 28, and 32 and on page 3, on line 4 by
16    replacing "municipality" each time it appears  with  "Village
17    of Rockton".
