 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2441

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2441  by  replacing
 3    everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 4        "Section  5.  The  Consumer  Fraud and Deceptive Business
 5    Practices Act is amended by adding Section 10c as follows:

 6        (815 ILCS 505/10c new)
 7        Sec.  10c.  Waiver  or  modification.   Any   waiver   or
 8    modification  of  the rights, provisions, or remedies of this
 9    Act shall be void and unenforceable.".
