 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3405

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill  3405  on  page  1,
 3    line  1,  by  replacing  "educational  labor  relations" with
 4    "education"; and

 5    on page  1,  immediately  below  line  3,  by  inserting  the
 6    following:

 7        "Section 3.  The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
 8    Section 18-241 as follows:

 9        (35 ILCS 200/18-241)
10        Sec. 18-241. School Finance Authority.
11        (a)  A School Finance Authority established under Article
12    1E  or  1F  of the School Code shall not be a taxing district
13    for purposes of this Law.
14        (b)  This Law shall not apply to the extension  of  taxes
15    for  a  school  district  for the levy year in which a School
16    Finance Authority for the district  is  created  pursuant  to
17    Article 1E or 1F of the School Code.
