1 AN ACT in relation to the transfer of real property.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Director of Agriculture, on behalf of the
5 State of Illinois, is authorized to exchange certain real
6 property in Perry County, Illinois, hereinafter referred to
7 as Parcel 1, for certain real property of equal value in
8 Perry County, Illinois, hereinafter referred to as Parcel 2,
9 with the NOTFA Land Trust #1, such Parcels being described as
10 follows:
11 PARCEL 1
12 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
13 A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter
14 of Section 29, Township 6 South, Range 1 West of the
15 Third Principal Meridian, Perry County, Illinois
16 DETAILED DESCRIPTION
17 Commencing at the Southwest Corner of the said Northwest
18 Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence Easterly along
19 the South line of the said Northwest Quarter of the
20 Northeast Quarter a distance of 62.62 feet to an iron
21 rebar found in the East Right-of-Way line of U.S. Route
22 51; thence Northerly along the said East Right-of-Way
23 said line being 60 feet Easterly of the centerline of
24 U.S. Route 51 a distance of 854.56 feet to an iron rebar

6 Section 10. Whereas, the transaction described in
7 Section 5 will be to the mutual advantages of both parties,
8 each party shall be responsible for any and all title costs
9 associated with their respective properties.
10 Section 15. The Director of Agriculture shall obtain an
11 opinion of title from the Illinois Attorney General
12 certifying that the State of Illinois will receive
13 merchantable title to the real property referred to as Parcel
14 2 in Section 5.
15 Section 20. The Director of Agriculture shall obtain a
16 certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the
17 title, the enacting clause, the effective date, the
18 appropriate Sections containing the land descriptions of
19 property to be transferred, and this Section within 60 days
20 after this Act's effective date and, upon receipt of payment
21 or other consideration required by the appropriate Sections,
22 shall record the certified document in the Recorder's office
23 in the county in which the land is located.
24 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
25 becoming law.
