Amends the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Administrative Act. Adds a caption to a Section concerning the legislative purpose of the Act.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning health services.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Administrative Act is amended by changing Section 1 as follows:

(20 ILCS 1705/1) (from Ch. 91 1/2, par. 100-1)

Sec. 1. Legislative purpose. Purpose. The purpose of this Act is to consolidate in one statute certain powers and duties of the Department of Human Services relating to mental health and developmental disabilities.
