1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4851
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4851 on page 1,
3 immediately below line 5, by inserting the following:
4     "Section 3. Definitions. As used in this Act:
5     "Volunteer firefighter" means a firefighter who does not
6 receive monetary compensation for his or her services to a fire
7 department or fire protection district and who does not work
8 for any other fire department or fire protection district for
9 monetary compensation."; and

10 on page 2, immediately below line 17, by inserting the
11 following:
12     "Section 20. Applicability. This Act applies only to
13 municipalities with a population of 3,500 or less.".
