 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5. In addition to amounts previously appropriated
 5    for  this  purpose,  the amount of $22,200,000, or so much of
 6    that amount as may be necessary,  is  appropriated  from  the
 7    Common  School  Fund  to  the  State  Board  of Education for
 8    Grants-In-Aid for general apportionment (General  State  Aid)
 9    as provided by Section 18-8.05 of the School Code.

10        Section  99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect upon
11    becoming law.
