 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1051

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1051 on  page  12,
 3    by deleting lines 31 through 34; and

 4    on page 13, after line 7, by inserting the following:

 5        "The  by-laws  may  also  provide  that  late fees may be
 6    charged for delinquent payment  of  condominium  assessments.
 7    If  late fees are charged, they may not exceed the greater of
 8    $25 or 10% of the amount due and may not be charged more than
 9    once for the same late payment.".
