Pursuant
to Article IV, Section 9(b) of the Illinois Constitution of 1970, I hereby veto
Senate Bill 1067, entitled “AN ACT concerning senior citizens.” I recognize and
appreciate the hard work of all the sponsors in passing this legislation. However, Senate Bill 1067 contains identical
language as Public Act 93-0241, effective July 22, 2003.
For this
reason, I hereby veto and return Senate Bill 1067.
