AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2329

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2329 on page 1, line 5, after "7,", by inserting "8,"; and

on page 6, line 25, after the comma, by inserting "based on its highest and best use,"; and

on page 7, after line 6, by inserting the following:

"(310 ILCS 60/8) (from Ch. 67 1/2, par. 1158)

Sec. 8. The provisions of this Act shall not apply to any of the following: a government taking by eminent domain or negotiated purchase; a forced sale pursuant to a foreclosure; or a transfer by gift, devise or operation of law; or an owner's sale or other disposition of assisted housing in a manner pursuant to which the property after the sale or other disposition continues to be assisted housing as defined in this Act.
