1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2944
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2944 on page 1, by
3 replacing line 7 with the following:

4     "Sec. 3.1. Potluck events.
5     (a) As used in this Section, "potluck event" means an event
6 at which:
7         (1) people are gathered to share food;
8         (2) there is no compensation provided to people for
9 bringing food to the event;
10         (3) there is no charge for any food or beverage
11 provided at the event; and
12         (4) the event is not conducted for commercial purposes.
13     (b) Notwithstanding any other"; and

14 on page 1, by replacing lines 13 through 15 with the following:

15 "event for consumption at the potluck event. Individuals who".
