1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of
3 Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Randall Kraig
4 Reno of Medora on February 25, 2003 age; and
5 WHEREAS, Kraig Reno was born on February 25, 1980 in
6 Jerseyville, the son of Randall and Kay (Vinyard) Reno; and
7 WHEREAS, Kraig Reno graduated from Southwestern High
8 School in 1998 and was a proud recipient of a bachelor's
9 degree in December 2002 from McKendree College; he had
10 planned to pursue a career in law enforcement; and
11 WHEREAS, Kraig Reno was a member of St. John's Catholic
12 Church in Medora; he enjoyed spending time with his family
13 and friends, his girlfriend, listening to music, playing the
14 guitar, and traveling; he supported the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
15 the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish;
16 and
17 WHEREAS, Kraig Reno's passing will be deeply felt by
18 many, especially his parents, Randall and Kay (Vinyard) Reno;
19 his two sisters and a brother-in-law, Kris Reno, and Kelly
20 and Aaron Goetten; his girlfriend, Rebecca Wendel; his
21 grandparents, Russell and Virginia Reno; his godparents, Dick
22 Shaw and Donna Moore; his aunts and uncles, Linda and John
23 Lambeth, Debbie Reno, Agnes Piper, Mary and Lloyd Costello,
24 Athen Jr. and Lois Vinyard, Hal and Edna Plogger, and George
25 and Ginny Vinyard; and other extended family and many dear
26 friends; and
27 WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his grandparents,
28 Athen Sr. and Cecilia Vinyard; and his uncle, Herbert
29 Vinyard; therefore, be it
30 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
31 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of

1 Randall Kraig Reno along with all who knew and loved him and
2 extend our sincere condolences to all his family and friends;
