1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 783
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 783 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Child
5 Support Payment Act.

6     Section 5. Definitions.In this Act:
7     "Currency exchange" means a currency exchange licensed
8 under the Currency Exchange Act.
9     "Obligee", "obligor", "order for support", and "State
10 Disbursement Unit" have the meanings attributed to those terms
11 in the Income Withholding for Support Act.

12     Section 10. Payment of child support at currency exchange.
13 An obligor under an order for support of a child may make any
14 payment of child support required under that order at a
15 currency exchange. When an obligor makes a payment of child
16 support at a currency exchange, the obligor must provide the
17 currency exchange with information sufficient to enable the
18 currency exchange to transmit the amount of the payment to the
19 State Disbursement Unit under the order for support.

20     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
21 becoming law.".
