AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1548

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1548 on page 6, by replacing lines 2 through 8 with the following: "died. The Department may, subject to federal financial participation in the cost, continue to provide financial assistance and education assistance grants for a child who was determined eligible for financial assistance under this subsection (j) in the interim period beginning when the child's adoptive parents died and ending with the finalization of the new adoption of the child by another adoptive parent or parents. The Department may also provide".
