1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2373
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2373 on page 5, by
3 replacing lines 3 through 19 with the following:
4 "Services may adopt. The Department of Human Services shall
5 ensure that each client who visits a Department of Human
6 Services office, authorized agent, or community-based
7 organization partnering with the Department of Human Services
8 to apply for benefits is provided an application and requested
9 to complete his or her name and the date and to sign the
10 application to begin the application process that same day.";
11 and

12 on page 9, line 8, after the period, by inserting the
13 following: "The Department of Human Services may, by rule,
14 allow for a longer period of time between eligibility
15 redeterminations for an individual, household, or family that
16 is eligible for a longer certification period under federal law
17 or waiver.".
