AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 122

2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 122 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4     "Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $1, the
5 Secretary of Human Services is authorized to convey by
6 quitclaim deed all of the State's right, title, and interest in
7 and to the following described land to the Village of Tinley
8 Park for public roadway purposes and other non-profit uses:
 
9     That part of the South Half of Section 36, Township 36
10     North, Range 12 East of the Third Principal Meridian being
11     bounded and described as follows:
 
12     Commencing at the southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter
13     of said Section 36; thence South 89 degrees 42 minutes 02
14     seconds East, along the South line of said Southwest
15     Quarter, a distance of 2669.17 feet to the southeast corner
16     of said Southwest Quarter and a point on Line "A"; thence
17     North 00 degrees 10 minutes 38 seconds West, along said
18     Line "A", a distance of 50.00 feet, to the North line of
19     the South 50.00 feet of said Section 36 and the Point of
20     Beginning; thence North 89 degrees 42 minutes 02 seconds
21     West, along said North line, a distance of 55.00 feet;
22     thence North 45 degrees 03 minutes 36 seconds East, a
23     distance of 21.13 feet to the North line of the South 65.00

13     5.46 feet to a point of tangency on Curve "B"; thence
14     northwesterly along said Curve "B" to the left having a
15     radius of 834.000 feet, an arc length of 393.125 feet, a
16     chord length of 389.495 feet, and a chord bearing of North
17     39 degrees 13 minutes 40 seconds West, to a point of
18     tangency on Line "E"; thence North 52 degrees 43 minutes 54
19     seconds West, on said Line "E" a distance of 5.37 feet, to
20     the East line of the West 1900.00 feet of the Southwest
21     Quarter of said Section 36; thence North 00 degrees 00
22     minutes 00 seconds East, along said East line, a distance
23     of 82.93 feet, to a point on a line lying 66.00 feet
24     northeasterly of and parallel to said Line "E"; thence
25     South 52 degrees 43 minutes 54 seconds East, along said
26     parallel line, a distance of 55.59 feet, to a point of
27     tangency on a curve lying 66.00 feet northeasterly of and
28     parallel to said Curve "B"; thence southeasterly along said
29     parallel curve to the right having a radius of 900.000

20     Containing 1.814 acres (79,032 square feet) more or less.
 
21     Section 10. Upon the payment of the sum of $1, the
22 Secretary of Human Services is authorized to convey by
23 quitclaim deed all of the State's right, title, and interest in
24 and to the following described real property to the United
25 Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Chicago for non-profit
26 uses:
 
27     That part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 36, Township
28     36 North, Range 12 East of the Third Principal Meridian
29     being more particularly described as follows:
 
30     Commencing at the southeast corner of said Southeast

1     Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing for purposes of this
2     description of North 89 degrees 42 minutes 02 seconds West
3     along the South line of said Southeast Quarter, a distance
4     of 2237.39 feet; thence North 00 degrees 17 minutes 58
5     seconds East, at right angles to the last described line, a
6     distance of 174.75 feet; thence North 32 degrees 46 minutes
7     02 seconds West, a distance of 99.70 feet; thence North 72
8     degrees 07 minutes 42 seconds West, a distance of 105.00
9     feet, to Line "A"; thence North 89 degrees 42 minutes 02
10     seconds West, along Line "A" parallel with the South line
11     of said Southeast Quarter, a distance of 139.51 feet to the
12     Point of Beginning; thence South 00 degrees 17 minutes 8
13     seconds West, at right angles to said Line "A", a distance
14     of 290.00 feet to the South line of said Southeast Quarter;
15     thence North 89 degrees 42 minutes 02 seconds West, along
16     said South line, a distance of 143.97 feet, to the
17     southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter and Line "B";
18     thence North 00 degrees 10 minutes 38 seconds West; along
19     Line "B" a distance of 290.01 feet to the westerly
20     prolongation of said Line "A"; thence South 89 degrees 42
21     minutes 02 seconds East, along said westerly prolongation,
22     a distance of 146.38 feet, to the Point of Beginning.
 
23     Excepting therefrom the South 50.00 feet and also excepting
24     therefrom that part of said parcel lying westerly of the
25     following described line:
 
26     Commencing at the southwest corner of said Southeast
27     Quarter; thence North 00 degrees 10 minutes 38 seconds
28     West, along said Line "B", a distance of 290.01 feet, to
29     the westerly prolongation of said Line "A"; thence South 89
30     degrees 42 minutes 02 seconds East, along said westerly
31     prolongation, a distance of 40.00 feet, to a line lying

5     7 seconds East, a distance of 21.30 feet, to the North line
6     of the South 50.00 feet of said Southeast Quarter and the
7     terminus of said line.
 
8     Containing 0.578 acres (25,179 square feet) more or less.
 
9     Section 15. The conveyance of real property authorized by
10 Section 5 shall be made subject to the express condition that
11 any part of the said real property that ceases to be used for
12 public roadway purposes or non-profit uses shall revert back to
13 the State of Illinois, Department of Human Services, without
14 further action on the part of the State or the Department.
 
15     Section 20. The conveyance of real property authorized by
16 Section 10 shall be made subject to the express condition that
17 any part of the real property that ceases to be used for
18 non-profit uses shall revert back to the State of Illinois,
19 Department of Human Services, without further action on the
20 part of the State or the Department.
 
21     Section 90. The Secretary of Human Services shall obtain a
22 certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the
23 title, the enacting clause, the effective date, the appropriate
24 Section or Sections containing the land descriptions of the
25 property to be conveyed, and this Section within 60 days after
26 its effective date and, upon receipt of the payment required by
27 the Section or Sections, if any payment is required, shall
28 record the certified document in the Recorder's Office in the
29 County in which the land is located.

1     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
2 becoming law.".
